Living in New Zealand part.3 (From Ngawi to Castlepoint)

After the rain from Cape Palliser’s lighthouse had vanished, we needed to find a place to spend the night, and on the way back we passed by a little town called Ngawi for the second time. We saw that there was a camping spot with beautiful views and being honest, he town looked really interesting to me, I saw tons of potential for good photos, and so it was settled we would camp there. (And come on, who wouldn’t like to sleep in a place like this?)

After the tent was settled we had to see what this little town and the beach had to offer, so considering we still had a couple of hours of sunlight we decided to explore the vicinity.

I have to admit that considering it was peak season I was quite surprised to find so little people and to have a feeling of solitude in both the camping site and the town, which for me, made it even better and more enjoyable.

After the exploration and the enjoyment of solitude the only thing left to do was to prepare dinner and sleep so we could wake up early and tackle the road towards Castlepoint, which was one of the locations that I was interested in visiting from the North Island as I had been shown two photos and I saw immense photographic potential, which at this point I still see because even though I took many photos, there are still a few that I want to take so… Let’s say I left the tripod at home so I could have an excuse to go back to Castlepoint at some point in the future.

With this I will end up my nonsense and leave you with a set of photos taken from the car and others taken at the so mentioned Castlepoint.

J.
